Jan Sanner

Jan is from a family of pilots. Her mother, grandfather and great uncle built gliders and airplanes back in the late 1920’s and 1930’s and she has collections of their photos, log books, flight suit, albums of planes, books and other memorabilia. Both Jan’s husband and son acquired their pilots licenses and Jan went to Ground School and operated the radio for her husband. Previously Jan worked as a “Stewardess” for United Air Lines for 2 & ½ years. Jan has a degree from Purdue University in Communications and Marketing. She has been a Real Estate Realtor/Broker with an office in the Fort Wayne area since 1976 and in Southwest Florida since 2000. Having a great interest in history, Jan is excited to serve on both the Board of Directors for the National Airmail Museum and the Allen County History Center. She sees the importance of the National Airmail Museum to help inspire, recruit and educate our future aviators as our country’s need increases.
