Warren Mead

Warren has served on the National Airmail Museum board since January 2025. With interests in history, aircraft and educating young people, the museum represents a unique opportunity for Warren to share and advance these interests.

Warren’s 40 years of experience as an underwriter in specialty insurance, allows him to provide valuable insight and information to the planning of the museum and its operations.

Other volunteer organizations with which Warren is involved, include: Junior Achievement, Real Men Read, the ACPL Audio Reading Service, as well as the Fort Wayne Zoo, where he volunteers in several capacities.

Warren lives in northern Allen County with his wife, and they have two daughters, one son-in-law, two grandkids (along with 5 grand dogs and 2 grand cats), all of whom live in Fort Wayne.
